I have always been intrigued by photography and mesmerized by motherhood. Photography touches my soul almost as deep as motherhood does. I feel you can see through a person, into their inner being, just by looking at their picture. I feel photography captures something deep, something honest about a person. I feel motherhood does the exact same thing. When I became pregnant with my daughter, I had never felt so womanly and beautiful. I knew once the baby was here and the hustle and bustle of motherhood started, it would be hard for me to remember the wonders of it all. I decided to capture the experience with photography - and I am so thankful I did. I decided I want to help other woman do the same. After my daughter was born, we made countless trips to dirty department store or mall type studios where we always had to wait for our appointment. We had to deal with a photographer whose main concern was running customers through and didn't care about that "perfect" shot. I knew there had to be something better. I wanted to eliminate everything I hated about that experience.
Each one of my photographs is art. Each one of my clients is an important part of my life, molding me into a better photographer, one picture at a time. I book one appointment a day so you never have to wait or feel rushed. I wash EVERYTHING after each shoot. I only use fabric backdrops and floor coverings so it can all be washed between appointments. My studio is my home. This provides a private and relaxed environment. The pricing is extremely reasonable as to allow you to come as often as you wish. You will find your photographs mean more to you when the experience was a positive one.
My personal goal for this business is to provide you with photographs that tug at your heartstrings every time you glance at them because they depict your child’s personality perfectly. I yearn for my pictures to prove to your family and friends (because you already knew) that your newborn is an actual angel here on earth. For my maternity clients, my goal is to capture this time in your life in such a way that when you look back at your pictures you easily forget all about your swollen ankles and your aching back. When looking back at these reminders, I wish for you to recall the glory of carrying your child inside of you and remembering how wondrous and womanly you truly were.
